  • Conceptualization
  • Visual Identity

The ICFO-SJD Joint Lab, initiated in 2020 by Institut de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu and ICFO, aims to foster interdisciplinary research activities for the advancement and application of photonic technologies in innovative solutions for neonatal and pediatric care.

The key concept driving the visual identity development is to create a playful and child-friendly environment. This vision is realized through a meticulously curated palette of three foundational colors: blue, cyan, and vibrant orange. The visual narrative unfolds with silhouettes, inspired by neubau, portraying children in joyful moments—flying kites, blowing bubbles, and skateboarding—an ode to the inherent joy of childhood.

This harmonious fusion, conveyed through captivating imagery, signifies our unwavering dedication to advancing pediatric healthcare standards and enhancing the overall well-being of children. The visual identity serves as a powerful representation of our commitment to transformative and compassionate care.
