“À Cause de Raconteur is a conversation to emancipate readers, shake up genres, and stimulate the mutation of the canon. We developed a visual identity that would highlight the diverse, and transforming ethos of the festival”

À CAUSE DE RACONTEUR

Client: Self Asigned

Field: Arts & Culture

Key Assets:

  • Visual Identity
  • Program
  • Posters

Every two years, The Grand Palace Éphémère in Paris hosts “À cause du Raconteur” a fest where literature takes center stage in all its facets. It embraces a concept of mutant literature, encompassing all forms of the written and spoken word, be it oral, printed, or electronic. These forms blur the lines between genres, and adapt to the evolving landscape of reading and writing platforms.

Since its inception, À cause du Raconteur has brought together writers, poets, philosophers, scientists, musicians, filmmakers, playwrights, narrators, comic book artists, screenwriters, journalists, actors, librarians, and publishers, all eager to engage in discussions on critical contemporary issues. It’s a conversation to emancipate readers, shake up genres, and stimulate the mutation of the canon.

We developed a visual identity for the festival that would be used in its dissemination assets: poster, postcard, e-flyer and a catalog. The visual identity consists of a simple yet distinctive color scheme (fuchsia, light blue, green, red and soft gold) and a designed typography composition using Varent Grotesk Font. We believe that these elements would highlight the diverse, and transforming ethos of the summit.
